Responsible Gaming
Last updated 13 October 2026
You must be 18 or older to play. We close any account held by someone under 18. Parents: please keep your phone and mobile-money account secure.
Healthy habits
Decide how long you will play and how much you can afford to lose before you start, then set it as a limit in the app.
Step away every hour. A session reminder can tell you when time is up.
A lost match is gone. Trying to win it back usually leads to bigger losses.
Ludo is entertainment, not a way to earn a living or pay bills.
- Do not play when you are upset, tired, or have been drinking.
- Never borrow money, or use money meant for rent, school fees, food or family, to play.
- Balance gaming with work, study, family, friends and sleep.
- Remember that tokens are free play points, not money. Free play is always available.
Signs that gaming may be a problem
- playing for longer, or spending more, than you planned;
- feeling you need to win back what you have lost;
- hiding your playing or spending from family and friends;
- borrowing money or selling things to play;
- missing work, school or sleep because of gaming;
- feeling anxious, irritable or low when you are not playing.
If any of these sound familiar, take a break, use the tools below and talk to someone you trust.
Tools in the app
Find them under Play limits in Settings, or at Wallet > Limits. They work straight away, without contacting us.
- Deposit limits - daily, weekly and monthly caps on how much you can deposit.
- Loss limits - daily, weekly and monthly caps on your net real-money losses. A stake that would take you past the limit is refused.
- Session reminders - a reminder every 15 to 240 minutes of continuous play ("You have been playing for 60 minutes").
- Time-out - a break of 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.
- Self-exclusion - 6 months, 1 year or permanently.
Lowering a limit, or setting a new one, applies immediately. Raising or removing a limit applies only after 24 hours. Days, weeks and months follow Kampala time.
During a time-out or self-exclusion you cannot deposit, play any game (practice and token games included), join queues, rooms, House tables or tournaments, or send gifts, and we stop play alerts and promotions. You can still withdraw your cash balance. A time-out or self-exclusion cannot be shortened or cancelled from your account, and support will only make it longer, never shorter, at your request. Self-excluded accounts are not converted in the monthly token conversion.
Honest odds
Dice are provably fair and outcomes are never adjusted. In player-versus-player cash matches we take only the platform fee shown before you join. At House tables the published multiplier includes a house edge, so over many games the House keeps a share of stakes. Nobody can guarantee a win. See Fair Play and the rules.
Getting help
If gaming is affecting you or someone close to you, you do not have to deal with it alone.
Talk to a doctor, a counsellor or your nearest health centre. Butabika National Referral Hospital in Kampala provides mental health and addiction services, and regional referral hospitals can refer you. You can also email [email protected] any time: we can set a limit, a time-out or a self-exclusion for you and close your account if you ask.
Protecting minors
Sign-up requires confirming you are 18 or older, and we may ask for ID. If you know of a player under 18, report it to [email protected] and we will close the account.
Ludo Cash Arena is operated by Eira Digital Co. Limited. Licensing and regulatory information is available on request from [email protected].
