LUDO CASH ARENA

AML and KYC Policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

Ludo Cash Arena is a game, not a way to move money. These checks protect players, keep payouts safe and help us meet Uganda's anti-money-laundering law.
When we ask for ID

A single withdrawal above UGX 500,000, or withdrawals totalling more than UGX 2,000,000 in any rolling 30 days, need a verified identity. So do gifts above UGX 200,000 (single or in one day). Smaller amounts usually need no documents.

1. Our commitments

  • We follow the Anti-Money Laundering Act of Uganda and the guidance that applies to us, and cooperate with the Financial Intelligence Authority.
  • Every shilling is recorded in an append-only double-entry ledger, and every deposit and payout is verified with the payment provider before it counts.
  • Money can only come in from, and go out to, mobile-money accounts in the player's own name.
  • We do not accept cash, crypto or third-party payments.

2. Know your customer (KYC)

Every account starts with a verified phone number or email. For the thresholds above we ask for:

  • an ID document: Ugandan National ID, passport or driving permit, with its number;
  • a clear photo of the document and a selfie, uploaded in the app at Wallet > Verify identity.

Our team reviews the submission and you get a notification and email with the result. If it is rejected we tell you why and you can submit again. ID numbers and images are encrypted at rest, are never shown to other players and can only be opened by authorised staff; every view is logged. See the Privacy Policy.

We may also ask for ID at any other time, for example to confirm your age, when details do not match, or during an investigation.

3. Monitoring

We automatically flag patterns that can indicate fraud or laundering for review by our team, including:

  • depositing and withdrawing again within 24 hours with little play (less than half of the deposit staked);
  • single deposits, withdrawals or gifts of UGX 1,000,000 or more;
  • gifts passed on quickly after being received, or many senders gifting one player;
  • accounts sharing a device, a national ID number or a payout number;
  • the same players meeting repeatedly in cash matches with one-sided results (possible collusion or chip dumping).

Gifts above UGX 200,000 are always held for manual review. Withdrawals may be reviewed before they are paid.

4. What may happen

  • We may delay a withdrawal or gift while we review it, and ask you for information or documents.
  • We may refuse or reverse a transaction, return a deposit to its source, void matches, forfeit bonus, and suspend or close accounts involved.
  • Where the law requires, we report suspicious activity to the authorities. The law may not allow us to tell you that a report was made.

5. Records

We keep transaction, identity and review records for as long as AML and tax laws require (typically up to 10 years after the transaction).
